The Country Estate of Russian Poet A.S.Khomiakov at The Village Bogucharovo
Русский

The bell tower. It was built by project of architects P.V.Zhukovsky and N.V. Sultanov in 1894. It is very similar to the ancient Belltower of St. Mark's in Venice. At smaller picture from www.karenrobbins.com you can see it to compare with. The Venetian one was built at 10th century and was reconstructed twice - at 16th century after the earthquake and in 1912 after the bellfry was collapsed unexpectly.

The church of Feast of the Purification. Was built by the project of the landlord A.S.Khomiakov and his serf architect Sergey Aleksandrov in 1836-1840 years. At first icons inside of the temples were painted by italian artists.
